Internationally acclaimed and one of the most successful Baltimore bands to launch outside of the Beltway, SONiA disappear fear will reunite with the original five member disappear fear band to celebrate 'International disappear fear Day' - where classrooms and individuals around the world envision what a world without fear would be. As the pandemic quarantine stymied all in person performances, SONiA and the band cannot wait to debut songs from their upcoming album, the first album to feature the original band since 'Seed in The Sahara.' Making this one night only concert extra special is that it (almost) coincides with SONiA’s birthday. Come celebrate the best SONiA disappear fear party at the Gordon Center in Owings Mills, MD, on February 19, 2022 at 8 pm.

SONiA disappear fear invites you to join classrooms and individuals around the world in a virtual, interactive celebration of International Disappear Fear Day (February 18, 2022). Ask yourself, "What would I do if I wasn't afraid?" then show and tell us what your life in a world without fear would be like. Be creative in your own favorite way, then send us the results. A number of contributions will be shared on SONiA's website as well as on this page. Jewish singer-songwriter SONiA disappear fear will perform a global livestream concert on Pogromnacht (also known as Kristallnacht = Crystal Night) to honor the memories of the fallen and to commend the open, positive reconstruction of a free Germany now. The concert will be performed on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 7pm Central European Time (1pm EST / 6pm GMT) and streamed live from the former synagogue in Freudental, Germany, where SONiA is currently touring. Ihr erstes Konzert diesen Herbst findet im Kulturladen "Leuchtturm" in Kiel-Friedrichsort statt, wo ihre SONiA kraftvollen Songs gegen Ausgrenzung und für ein friedvolles Miteinander präsentieren wird. Aufgrund des Hygienekonzepts ist die Anzahl der zu reservierenden Plätze stark limitiert. Bitte reserviert rechtzeitig, wenn ihr dabei sein möchtet. SONiA disappear fear will perform an evening of extraordinary music with drummer/vocalist Marc Lawrence from the original disappear fear band. SONiA's return to the concert stage after 18 months is their first duo performance. When her concert at The Loft was confirmed for 9/11/21, SONiA knew she had to mark the occasion. Many of the songs on the 2004 'no bomb is smart' album were inspired by and relate to that infamous day. In the spirit of love, not fear, SONiA will be building her concert around these and many other of her passionate, empathetic power-folk songs.
